Getting Involved With The Club
The best way to get started is to join our mailing list! This will keep you up to date with the latest club meetings, events, and contests, and allow you to access our club Discord.
Joining Our Mailing List
You can join our mailing list by clicking the link here. If applicable, please use your university provided email address. All club-related activities will be broadcasted through this mailing list, so make sure to check your email often!
Discord Server
Once your request to join the mailing list is approved, you will be able to access a link to our club Discord. Here, you can meet other friendly members of the club, socialize, discuss problems you are solving independently, and ask any questions you may have about competive programming.
Club Activities
- Weekly meetings to discuss algorithms and their implementations for various programming challenges. Show up and discuss problem statements, descriptions, methods of attack, as well as sample solutions!
- Competitions and occasional practices, often with other people from universities located across North America.
- Communication regarding meeting time and location is sent through the mailing list, so make sure to join!
Who is Welcome?
Anyone! Undergraduate, graduate, and even high school students are welcome to join. We are a group that loves to solve programming challenges!
Do I Need to Compete?
No. You do not need to compete in order to be involved with the club! Although preparing for programming contests is an important aspect of the club, you are encouraged to join our discussions even if you do not want to compete.
